As we seem to be a little light on the old ride reports and general updates on the forum, I'll step up and give a quick run down on the last ride I was able to make it out on.......
This was a sort of bandit one in spirit, with full aero summer kit on show, young bucks in late winter high spirits and crusty old(er) men and ladies all putting their hands up for the Guido Sunday ride that shoots out towards Lincoln at 26mph and heads back into the head winds to Newark and back on familiar roads to Southwell and home. A pretty good route, nice quiet roads, no mud this time, but that wind..............
For many it was hang on to see how far you could get with the group, for others it was a let's-see-how-the-winter-on-the-turbo-and-track has treated me. Fly in February and die in, well who knows, let's see when the numbers get pinned to the back in the summer months.
Those that didn't want to play for as long headed to the cafe for some well earned cake and coffee, but it was almost standing room only with the number of different clubs making the Southwell Garden Centre the mid ride stop. I was pretty glad for the food and a quiet sit down..............
Some may say, it was just what the doctor ordered, but the doctors where wise enough to give it a miss and those that made it home did so with some sore legs and the need of a lie down. Well done Guy for organising again.

Nice one Dodge😀, yep it was one of those rides that just lets you know where you are in terms of fitness😅........and mental strength. Hard work but loved it, I had to go to the cafe or I'd have sulked all the way home. Thanks Guy👍🏾
